Vespy, Inc. ("Vespy", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our services, including our email and text message (SMS/MMS) notification features.

  • Phone number. Your mobile phone number, if you choose to enable SMS notifications.
  • Usage data. Information generated through your use of our platform, including interactions with notifications, device type, browser, and IP address.
  • Third-party integrations. Information from services you authorize to connect with Vespy.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Vespy platform.
  • Send you email notifications for categories you have opted into (e.g., maintenance updates, payment reminders, lease notifications).
  • Send you SMS/MMS notifications if you have provided your phone number and explicitly consented.
  • Send transactional messages related to your account activity (e.g., payment confirmations, security alerts, password resets).
  • Maintain records of your notification consent for compliance purposes.
  • Communicate with you about your account, service updates, and policy changes.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Email Communications

If you enable email notifications in your Notification Settings, we will send you emails for the categories you have selected. Available notification categories include:

  • Maintenance — work orders, assignments, and notes
  • Compliance — lease and document expiration alerts
  • Messaging — conversations and direct messages
  • Statements — owner statements and reporting summaries
  • Payments — charges, payments, and deposits
  • Leasing — tenants, leases, properties, and documents

You can opt out of any email notification category at any time by toggling the email switch off for that category in your Notification Settings, or by using the unsubscribe link included in every notification email. Opting out of email notifications does not affect your ability to use the Vespy platform.

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all commercial emails from Vespy include a clear unsubscribe mechanism, our company identity, and our physical mailing address. Opt-out requests are honored within 10 business days.

Text Message (SMS/MMS) Communications

If you opt in to SMS notifications by providing your mobile phone number, checking the SMS consent checkbox, selecting Agree & save number, and enabling SMS for one or more categories in your Notification Settings, we may send you text messages for the categories you have enabled.   • Message frequency varies based on your account activity and notification preferences.
  • Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, updating your Notification Settings, or contacting us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address, phone number, or notification consent data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers. Third-party vendors who assist in delivering email and SMS notifications on our behalf (e.g., email delivery services, SMS gateway providers). These providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the purpose of providing services to Vespy.
  • Legal compliance. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your data would remain subject to this Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We retain your notification preferences and consent records for as long as your account is active. If you opt out of email or SMS notifications, we retain the opt-out record for as long as required by applicable law or for a reasonable period to demonstrate compliance. Phone numbers are removed from our messaging systems promptly after you opt out or remove your number from your account.

Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to:

  • Manage notification preferences. Enable or disable email and SMS notifications at any time through your Notification Settings.
  • Opt out of emails. Toggle off any email category or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Opt out of SMS. Reply STOP to any message, disable SMS in your Notification Settings, or contact us at support@getvespy.com.
  • Access or delete your data. Request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@getvespy.com.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to perform their job functions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, through email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Vespy after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
