Commercial AR in Vespy: consolidated tenant invoices with balances and status, and credit memos including one issued by a CAM reconciliation

One ledger under the operations

Rent, recoveries, percentage rent, and credits post as balanced entries. Posted journal entries are corrected by reversal, not edited.

  • Chart of accounts with journal entries and reversals
  • Period close with pre-close checks and a trial balance
  • P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, cash or accrual

A trace for every recovery

Each reconciliation stores pool actuals, exclusions, gross-up, admin fee, share, base year, cap, and estimates billed, ready to tie out to the GL.

QuickBooks Online, if you keep it

Map Vespy categories to your QuickBooks Online accounts and export journal entries in batches. The export is one-way and starts when you run it.

Questions

Does Vespy sync with QuickBooks?

It exports journal entries to QuickBooks Online after you map accounts. Nothing syncs back except the chart of accounts, and QuickBooks Desktop is not supported.

Does Vespy connect to bank feeds?

No. Trust account reconciliation compares a statement balance you enter against the ledger and subledgers.

How are overpaid recoveries handled?

As credit memos. An overpayment at reconciliation becomes a numbered credit memo that applies against open charges.
